Welcome to Something Special Hull Celebration Village

Something Special has traded for 3 years on Holderness Road,  due to its on going success from offering great reliable customer services and a huge selection of quality products, the need for much larger premises arose, it has now moved to a new location on Clarence Street, Hull, East Yorkshire.

We are now open 7 days a week, with late nights Tuesdays and Thursdays until 9 pm, we are also open most Bank Holidays for your convience.

The business is owned by Jane Nixon, who had a vision to create a Celebration Village after consulting with her customers and listening to their needs over the recent years, it seemed that her customers would prefer to be able to aquire everything they needed when planning  any special occasion from the same shop, taking away the stress and time needed going from shop to shop and town to town,  looking for those special items.

And although alot of brides-to-be visited many wedding fayres, they remarked that they would prefer to be able to meet the various businesses again but this wasn’t always possible due to many businesses not having shops of their own, this new concept offers the customers a place to meet and feel safe in the knowledge that the businesses they chose to appoint can be located at the Celebration Village.

We are now Hull and East Yorkshires only Celebration Village where you will find everything needed for your very special occasion.

On the ground floor we have Wedding dresses, Gowns, Bridal Wear, Bridesmaid dresses, Flower girl dresses, Prom dresses, Ball gowns, Accessories, Tiaras, Veils, Bolero’s, Jackets, Stoles, Wraps, Hats and Fascinators.

Mens Wedding Suits, Dinner suits, Tuxedo’s.

On the upper floor you will find everything you could possibly need for any special occasion, be it a wedding, a special birthday party, an engagement party or a special annerversay, we offer Celebration Cakes, flowers, Bouquets, Posy’s, Favours, Balloon art, Table decorating services, Chair covers, Table center pieces, Invitations, Cards, Photographers, Video Production, Chocolate fountains, Hair and Beauty services, Gift wrapping services and lots more.

You can meet the variety of expert businesses, share a cup of coffee while discussing your requirements , in a spacious and  relaxed atmosphere.

Our new great location boosts free customer parking and we are open 7 days a week (including most bank holidays) with  late nights Tuesday and Thursday until 9pm
