Something Special Hire specialises in wedding suit hire for weddings, black tie parties, balls, proms and other formal events. Weddings
We offer a large range of Wedding Suits from traditional Tailcoats to modern Prince Edward styles. We have black suits, navy suits, grey suits and brown suits. Lounge suits are proving to be very popular in light weight Mohair fabrics in Sandstone, Navy and Silver Grey.
Trousers are available in traditional striped morning or can be matching. We have a large range of waistcoats, cravats, ties and handkerchiefs in many colours and can have them made up to match a specific colour. We also hire top hats cufflinks and shoes.
All garments are available in every size from age 2 boys up to size 60 chest men, as well as being in short, regular and long sizes(some suits come in extra short and extra-long).
With a Wedding Suit Grooms and Groomsmen will usually wear a waistcoat, cravat and handkerchief to match in or contrast with the Bridesmaids. In addition top hats are available in black, grey and navy in all sizes, we can even supply black silk top hats if required.
We also hire black patent shoes and soft brown leather shoes to comliment the suits.
We offer a variety of collars with your wedding outfit, the most popular being a Como collar (cut away). You can also choose from regular or wing. All shirts come with double cuffs that need cufflinks so that you see a small amount of white shirt cuff appearing below the jacket sleeve.

We supply suits for Black Tie parties, Balls, Proms and other Formal events.
We have most sizes in stock from boys to extra-large men so we can supply outfits at the shortest of notice.
All accessories available to hire like bow-ties, cummerbunds, hankies, evening waistcoats, cufflinks and shoes.

When do I need to order my Wedding Suits?
It is always advisable to order as soon as you can so that we may reserve your suits, but in most cases we can order you a suit at short notice.
Do I pay for the suits when I order them?
All you need to pay is a non-refundable measuring fee which is £20.00 per person; this is deducted from the cost of the suits.
When will my suits be ready for collection?
Generally you may collect one day before and return day after function, if this is not suitable then other arrangements can be made to accommodate your needs.
Do I need to bring everyone in at same time to be measured?
No, once your party booking is set up we will know what all party members will be wearing and will just need to measure and order suits accordingly this can be done over an agreed time frame.
What happens if a suit gets damaged?
Don’t worry, all our suits are hired to you with an additional accidental waiver fee which will cover accidental (not malicious) damages, please read our Terms and Conditions for full details.
Will I receive good advice when choosing my suits?
